Kate started her Life Sciences career in 2014 as a Product Validation Scientist for injectable narcotic manufacturing. She was hired to Emerson as an MES Engineer in 2015, where she focused on configuring customer requirements and implementing MES at site. She then moved to her current MES Product Manager role in 2019, where she applies her engineering experience and knowledge to maintain Syncade as a best-in-class MES. Kate also served as the first Product Owner for Syncade Technology, where she initiated the change to utilizing cross-functional teams and delivering software in an iterative fashion.

Kate earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and is currently attending Wilmington University for her MBA. She is a certified SCRUM Product Owner and Human-Centered Design Practitioner. Kate additionally serves on the Agile Transformation Leadership Team, heading efforts to continuously improve product and processes in both technology and product management.
