Michalle Adkins, Director Life Sciences Consulting at Emerson Process Management, has over 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Michalle and her team use their varied experiences in manufacturing, automation, and engineering to work with several top pharmaceutical and biotech companies providing consulting services in digital transformation, digital roadmap planning, project justification and definition, operations improvement and front end engineering and design definition. Michalle has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.E. in Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and Six Sigma Black Belt Master’s Certificate from Villanova University.

Michalle is passionate about digital transformation, operational excellence, continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma, automation, operations management, and MES. Michalle is an active participant in BioPhorum Technology Roadmap and IT work streams: Knowledge Management, In-Line Monitoring/Real-Time Release., Advanced Process Control-Process Analytics, CMO/Sponsor Data Standards, and Adopting In-Line Monitoring/Real-Time Release.
